Bio/Description

I am a fourth-year PhD candidate in Computer Science at Princeton University, where my research focuses on leveraging large language models for advanced materials discovery. I am broadly interested in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and AI for science. Prior to joining Princeton, I completed a one-year pre-doctoral program at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Spain, and earned my bachelor's and master's degrees in Computer Science and Technology from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). I have also been fortunate to intern at IBM Research, Meta AI, Huawei, and WhaleCloud. During my master's studies, my NLP research spanned several topics, including machine translation, language modeling, text classification, summarization, sentiment analysis, commonsense reasoning, named-entity recognition, and dataset curation for low-resource African languages. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, going to the gym, running, and hiking.
